10 Best Baby Strollers

Finding the best baby stroller that works for you can be challenging. Whether you need a good jogging stroller, a stroller with air tires, a stroller that will hold up after countless hikes, or anything else that may fit your lifestyle. Whatever your lifestyle may be, it’s important your baby stroller is compatible with it. Having a good stroller gives you the freedom to do all the activities that you did before having a baby and makes it so that you don’t have to be confined to driving everywhere or leaving your baby behind.

If you end up spending your money on one that isn’t well made and won’t last you or simply does not fit your lifestyle, you will end up buying a new one and spending more money in the long run. It pays to be informed and we wanted to help you out with some information. We compiled a list of some of the best strollers out there to assist you in making an informed decision on what stroller is the best fit for you and your family.

Baby Jogger 2016 Citi Mini Single

Pro: Lightweight and compact
Con: Tight access to storage

This simple, affordable, lightweight stroller has a one-hand folding feature that makes taking it down and storing it easy. It is extremely easy to maneuver and the air tires make going over bumps painless. The frame has a lifetime warranty and the components are under warranty for the first year. The large canopy will keep the sun off of your child and keep them cool all day.

Although the storage is an adequate size, it is not as large as some of the other strollers on this list. The double wheels on the front mean that this stroller is not the best for running with but it is great for walking or jogging and it is also less likely to tip over. It is a very popular baby stroller and great quality that won’t break the bank.

Britax B-Agile 3

Pro: Good brakes
Con: Plastic wheels

The functional design, compact frame, and safety features of this stroller make it very popular among parents. The easy setup and one hand fold make it very convenient for busy people and the small general size makes it easy to fit into smaller spaces, whether it’s in use or being stored. It is equipped with a large sunshade and large storage underneath. It also has a good sized zipper pocket on the back of the canopy.

The handle height does not adjust, which may pose a slight issue if you are taller or shorter than average. This stroller also is not equipped with cup holders, so it may not be best for long hikes or if you plan to be out for extended periods. The plastic wheels and the fact that there is no rear shocks means that this stroller will perform best on a flat terrain as opposed to one that has a lot of bumps. All-in-all it is a nice simple baby stroller for an affordable price.

BOB Motion

Pro: Super compact
Con: Smaller storage

This is the smallest stroller on this list when it’s folded and it is the most lightweight. This high performance stroller is equipped with Britax CLICK & GO adaptors and a one-handed folding feature. It also has air tires, which makes rougher terrain easier to navigate. Although it’s lightweight, this stroller can handle heavy duty use.

It is harder to push and turn than some of it’s competition. It also has very few conveniences which is limited to a very small basket and it has no additional storage. Despite these drawbacks, there are very few strollers that are a match in performance and size and there is no doubt that the quality of this baby stroller is well worth the price.

Baby Jogger City Mini GT

Pro: Rubber tires
Con: Safety concerns

Despite this stroller’s name, it is not meant for jogging. It is, however, great for walking and an all-purpose baby stroller. The rubber tires mean that this stroller may have a little bit better shock absorbance than one with harder tires and because there is a single tire on the front, it is very easy to maneuver and pushing it does not require a lot of effort. It has an adjustable handlebar, which will cater to anyone no matter what their height is. It’s also equipped with a large pocket on the back of the seat, and a large sunshade like the other baby jogger we mentioned earlier.

The biggest flaw of this stroller is that tests have indicated that it has a tendency to tip if the child scoots up to far while the back is reclined. This is not a problem with the other baby jogger in this list and seems to be a design flaw that would be easily remedied. There are also no cup holders on this stroller. Besides the tipping problem, this stroller is easy to use and affordable.

Mountain Buggy Swift

Pro: Good cup holder
Con: Difficult-to-use buckle system

This baby stroller is nice and very small. It comes equipped with an adjustable handle and rubber tires. One of the best parts about this stroller is the very deep bottle holster located on the side of the handlebar wrapped with a mesh pocket, great for long walks or hikes. This stroller’s small frame and rubber tires make it easy to maneuver through rough terrain and crowded areas.

Though it is easy to access, the storage is very limited. It also has a quite small sunshade, but that can be remedied with a stroller cover. The biggest thing that may be a frustration or inconvenience is the buckle system, which is quite complicated and confusing. It also has the tendency to tip backwards with even small amounts of pressure on the handlebar. It is a nice stroller if you need it to be a lightweight stroller you can take almost anywhere if, for example, you hike a lot. But for a general, all-purpose stroller there are better ones on this list.

BOB Revolution Flex

Pro: Locking swivel wheel
Con: Difficult recline adjustment

This baby stroller has adjustable suspension, a large canopy, and rubber tires, making it the perfect stroller for an avid hiker. It also has passenger stow pockets, a large back on the back of the seat, and a large, easily accessed storage basket underneath. The single, locking swivel wheel is a great feature especially if you will be using this stroller to jog with, which is something that this stroller is great for.

The BOB Revolution Flex is on the heavier, larger side of the list. That problem does not seem to affect its ease of use, but if you are looking for a lightweight stroller this one may not be your best bet. It also does not self stand. This stroller has a difficult recline adjustment, how big of a problem that is would be dependent on how much you plan to use that feature. Some people may never use it and some may use it daily. All things considered, this is one of the top-rated strollers on this list. It’s great if you’re a jogger, if you hike, or for just a simple, all-purpose stroller.

Baby Jogger City Select

Pro: Good safety rating
Con: Hard to set up

This is a good, all-purpose stroller that can be modified to be a double stroller, so this would be great one if you’re expecting twins or children close in age. It is very easy to use and has a great safety rating. It also has a very large storage basket, which would be a very nice feature to have especially in the case that you do have two children with you.

The double wheels mean that this stroller is not meant for jogging and it is much better for walking or other general use and the canopy is on the smaller side. The City Select is one of the harder strollers to set up and does not have a one hand fold as most of the others on this list do. It is also on the heavier side and has small wheels, which means it is harder to push. All-in-all, this is a great stroller if you need or will need a double stroller in the future. But because of some of its drawbacks, it is hard to recommend it over the others on this list as a general purpose baby stroller.

UPPAbaby Cruz

Pro: Nice recline
Con: Harder to push

The aluminum alloy frame of this stroller does not flex under pressure, looks sleek and stylish, and makes this stroller very light. It has an adjustable seat that can be removed easily and an adjustable foot rest to accommodate any leg length or sitting position. It also has the highest capacity allowed storage basket and comes with a rain shield, bug shield, and bumper bar. It is a very high quality stroller and comes with a nice, large sunshade.

The Cruz, though an impressive stroller, could be a little easier to push. The double wheels on the front mean that this stroller is not meant to be used for jogging. There are no cup holders and it does not come with a one-hand fold feature. These things are easily forgiven as this is one of the most impressive strollers on this list and the pros definitely outweigh the cons.

Bugaboo Bee3

Pro: Carry strap
Con: 4 pound max. storage

This baby stroller has a nice recline and quite a few seating options. Its small frame and wheels make it easy to maneuver through crowded places. It is equipped with a large sunshade and comes with a rain cover. It is a very cute little stroller with a unique design that looks simple and stylish.

Though the storage is medium sized, it has a 4 pound limit so it doesn’t carry a lot of stuff. There is no one-hand fold feature and no self stand. This stroller is not meant for jogging or hiking, as it has double front wheels and very small wheels in general. The Bugaboo Bee3 has very few conveniences. It is a very nice, easy to use, all-purpose stroller despite these unfortunate flaws and would be great for someone who does not want a high tech stroller with a complicated design.

UPPAbaby Vista

Pro: Reversible seat
Con: Large when folded

This baby stroller is one of the largest, heaviest ones on the list but it also has the largest storage basket, so if you are the type who goes out in the morning and stays out all day long this would be perfect for you. It’s great for someone who lives in a city and uses their stroller to run errands. It can seat up to three children with additional purchase, making it a great fit for a large family with a lot of young children and the reversible seat means that the child can face you or away from you. It is easy to use and push and it is equipped with a large sunshade.  It also has one-hand fold feature, which comes in very handy.

As I mentioned before, it is on the heavier side of the range. There are no cup holders. It is difficult to find much of anything to dislike about this stroller. It is more expensive than some of the other strollers on this list but it is also by far the best and well worth the money.

  1. I have citi mini and love it! It is easy to push even for my 6’6″ husband. It folds easily and it lightweight. The only drawbacks are it has a small basket and it doesn’t come with any cup holders or any extra comforts for mom or baby. Also you can not connect it with a safety first car seat. Costs are reasonable to order the “extras”
