After trying twice to bathe my young baby in the bathtub I finally broke down and decided to buy a baby tub. What first attracted me to this naked collapsible baby bathtub is the fact that it collapses because I live in a very small apartment and I don’t have a lot of storage space. I ordered it and I was even more impressed with it after I got it.

It is really easy to clean because there is no grooves or textured designs on the tub that need to be cleaned out which also means there are no germs collecting. It can easily just be wiped down and hung up until you need it next. It comes equipped with a hook so all you have to do is find somewhere to hang it. It also has two positions that it can be in. One is for babies who can sit up on their own and one is for those who can’t and it drains extremely easily because there is a plug towards the lowest part of the bathtub.

When my baby was quite young and couldn’t sit up by herself I put her into the position that was meant for that age. The problem came in because there is no texture or anything so there was no grip to keep her from sliding down and into the water. I held her up for the first couple baths but eventually I ended up putting a tea towel underneath her to give her some sort of grip and that worked perfectly. The hook also is a little bit flimsy. It ended up breaking on my tub and I called the company asking if they could send me a replacement piece and I was informed that they do not do that. Instead I went to the dollar store and picked up a suction cup hook so I could hang it in my shower and that has worked well.

Overall, this is one of my best purchases. I have used it for a while already and I can see that I will be using it for a long time still. It has held up really well except for the hook which is not necessarily an essential piece although it was a nice convenience. I love the compact design of the bathtub and I highly recommend this naked collapsible baby bathtub.

  1. My Husband was the one to pick this tub out when we were registering for our first child and I’m so thankful that he did. This tub has become one of our favorite things we spent more on because of its ability to collapse for easy storage, it’s ability to fit up on counter top or inside our tub, and how lightweight it is. I also love that the tub grows with your child! When using this tub for a newborn you can expand the tub partially on one end to keep their head elevated. The one design flaw I’ve found is that the “drain” is on the same end as the side you keep elevated for newborns. This flaw isn’t a big deal since its easy to just dump the tub when finished but wish the drain was on opposite end. Would definitely recommend spending the little extra for this product simply for its easy storage.
