Nurture and protect your baby’s skin naturally with Burt’s Bees Baby Bee.

I have tried multiple diaper ointments on my son, who is prone to rashes, and they all either did nothing or, in some cases, made it worse. I purchased this one without very high expectations because I figured that it was like all of the rest of them and wouldn’t do anything but I was so desperate I had to try. I applied this cream to my son’s rash at night, and in the morning it was completely gone. I was shocked by the results and how fast it worked and since then this diaper cream is the only one I will use.

I am also very happy with the ingredients in this product. So many of the other diaper ointments I tried before I found this one had a lot of ingredients that I did not recognize or that I knew weren’t natural to put on my baby’s skin. This one is all natural and still works like a charm. The fact that it is not tested on animals is another thing I think is great about the product and the brand. The cream is very thick and smooth and it goes on very evenly. One tube of this ointment will last me months even with daily use because a little goes a very long way and you don’t have to apply a thick layer to get results.

I dislike the scent, however, and I’ve been told that the smell changed when they changed the formula. It’s not an overbearing scent and it’s something I can easily look past especially considering all of the thing that I love about the product. I just wish that it smelled as good as it works. Another thing is because of the thickness of the formula, it does tend to stick in one place and refuse to budge. It can be quite difficult to wipe off during diaper changes. But that could be what makes it work so well.

This cream has become a staple in my house. I am so relieved to find a natural diaper cream that actually works the way it’s supposed to. I will most definitely be repurchasing as I run out and I would highly recommend it if your baby struggles with sensitive skin or is prone to diaper rashes. It has worked wonders for me and my family and I don’t know how I didn’t find it sooner.

  1. I didn’t care for this at all. I found the cream to be too thick and the scent is unpleasant. Thick creams cake up and are hard to wipe off. This can cause your baby even more irritation. Nothing has worked better for me than just A&D ointment. It’s more of a vaseline or neosporin type of consistentcy. It works a lot better in my experience than creams. Plus it doesn’t have a distinct scent.

  2. My daughter has had a few persistent diaper rashes. When I first spotted it I used this cream that I had gotten at my baby shower. My close friend swore by it. I applied it and was not pleased with the smell nor the texture. I was however surprised at how well it worked! It almost completely got rid of the rash overnight! I always keep this product on hand. Although it is not an everyday use for us, we bring it with us everywhere. As for daily use, Vaseline has worked wonders at keeping the diaper area dry and protected.
