A great snack for learning babies!
Once my son started learning how to pick stuff up on his own I decided to start introducing these to him because I wanted to help him learn how to feed himself. I was comforted by the natural ingredients in these and the fact that they didn’t have too many words that I didn’t understand in the ingredients list. My son absolutely loves these and eats them all the time! I carry at least one container in my diaper bag at all times just in case of an emergency. I have found these all over the place and anytime I vacuum my apartment I come across what I feel is millions! I have even found myself snacking on these from time to time and they are quite tasty. They taste like a breakfast cereal with a subtle sweet, fruity flavor!
The perfect cereal for my little one!
I love the fact that these have whole grains so they are better for my little boy then some other sugary snacks that are out there. They also have vitamins and minerals which are essential in growing children so that is another added bonus to these puffs. They really are the perfect size for babies that are learning to self-feed because they are small enough that they have to try to be precise but also not slimy or slippery like fruit so they can get a good grasp on them. I especially like throwing these on the tray during lunch time just as a special little treat! These dissolve basically the minute you put them into your mouth so there is very little risk of the baby choking on them.
These puffs get everywhere!
As I mentioned above, I find these snacks everywhere. Anytime I will clean any given room I will find at least ten puffs and I am not even exaggerating! This isn’t the fault of the snack in the least it is more my own fault for letting her eat them while she’s not in her highchair! I also want to mention that, even though these are whole grain and are full of great stuff, they are sugary. The fourth ingredient is cane sugar which is not necessarily a bad thing once again but it just means that this shouldn’t be the only thing that your child is eating.
Gerber Graduates makes my must-have snack!
These are on my grocery list every single month because we go through these like water. My baby loves to have these and even though I only give them to him around once a day we use up a lot! As I mentioned above, I always have a container in my diaper bag because they are perfect in the car seat since they are dissolvable and self-feeder friendly. I love these and so does my little man and I see a huge improvement in his motor skills since introducing these. I highly recommend checking these out if your little one is showing interest in self-feeding.
