A surprisingly simple crib
Everything about this crib is super easy especially the setup of it. Not only did is take thirty minutes at the very most but all of the tools that I needed to assemble it were included in the kit! I loved this because I don’t really have any tools around my house and this just made it a million times simpler. The crib itself is also very lightweight. I could move it around myself even at six months pregnant! That being said it is still sturdy feeling and doesn’t worry me in the least! My favorite part is the color. This crib is available in a ton of different colors and a lot of them are super fun! I chose grey just because it went with the elephant theme I had for my son’s nursery. It is so cute and I absolutely love that it isn’t just plain wood or anything like that!
A 3-in-1 at a great price
This crib is so incredibly affordable and I love the quality of it. Most other cribs that I saw were far past two-hundred dollars at least and were not even the fun colors that this one is! The crib itself is very low to the ground which I actually prefer because I feel like it will not tip over when he reaches the crib standing stage of toddlerhood. The mattress base, however, has a few different height options which I absolutely love! Had a c-section and while recovering it is imperative that I can get my baby boy in and out of his crib easily and this helps me do that. I think a lot of cribs have this feature as well. Just a standard crib mattress works wonderfully in this crib. I personally use the Newton crib mattress and my son and I both adore it. He sleeps like, well, a baby on it!
The paint scratches easily on this Union product
One thing that I noticed is how easy it is to scratch the paint on this crib. I noticed it when I was first putting it together and accidentally scratched a bit of it. Luckily it was in a place that doesn’t show when it is fully set up which I was extremely relieved about! I went out right away and bought some non-toxic sealant and painted that over the entire crib and I have not had any sort of chipping or scratching so far! The crib itself is a little smaller than I expected as well. It is larger than a Pack ‘N’ Play but not by much. This is not necessarily a bad thing but I would have liked to know before I bought it so I thought I would include that information in here.
A solid crib!
I think that this crib is extremely good especially for the price you pay for it. It has held up really well to use even after nine months of nightly use as well as naps. If you are having problems with the scratching of the paint I highly recommend trying a non-toxic sealant to make sure it’s locked in! I will probably repurchase or reuse this crib for future babies because it really is a fantastic find. I have recommended it to numerous people and they all say that they love it as well! I highly recommend checking it out if you haven’t already.
